Keystage 1 & 2 English Lessons
Keystage 1 and 2 English covers children from 5 years old to 11 years old.
This is a very important time in a child’s learning as it give them a solid foundation for letters and writing that will help them in everyday life and prepare for reading and advanced writing in school as they grow.
Keystage 3 & 4 English Lessons
Key Stage 3 and 4 English covers kids ages 11 years old to 16 years old.
Now that your child has a good basic understanding of reading and writing then they are ready to advance to the next level. Grammar and spelling becomes a little harder at this point so it’s important to make sure your child has a good grasp of the English language at this level. This is where we can help them by providing extra support and show them exactly what they need to see to succeed at this level of English.
GCSE English Lessons
GCSE English covers children around 14 to 16 years old.
GCSE examinations are probably some of the most important in education. The results are reflected on your record for life and it affects which direction your kids eduction will take. It can limit or open their options including what A-Levels they can take, Schools and Universities they can go to and even affect which Career they can have.
A-Level English Lessons
A-level English covers Young adults from 16 years of to 18 years old. However you can still do A-level exams as a mature student 18+
English at this level is very complex and can be tricky to fully understand. That’s where we come in. We can make sure that your child fully understands the curriculum and what is required of them to get a good grade in their A-levels.
